The Midwest Society of Cosmetic Chemists‘ Teamworks is underway at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. This annual event is set to bring more than 1,000 personal care and home care industry professionals to the Chicagoland area today for a technical symposium, trade show and a social night.

The technical symposium started at 8am, with speakers from Univar, Chemyunion, Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant. Koster Keunen, Gattefosse and AccuGen presenting their novel concepts.

The exhibit floor is set to open at 11:30 am. More than 130 exhibitors will provide the latest innovations in ingredients and formulation in the cosmetic/personal and household care industry.

When the lights go off on the show floor later this afternoon, Teamworks will shift gears. The attention turns to a social night at Kings, which offers an excellent networking opportunity with colleagues and customers, according to Midwest Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
